I own the full range of what one can expect in a tuning machine! I bought these after reading the reviews.
I did not want to spend a lot on an upgrade for this guitar, but I am spoiled with tuners on several of my expensive guitars (Fender Amer Pro, Les Paul) and even those on several of my mid-range guitars. The original tuners on that cheapest-guitar-you-can-buy guitar were just horrible. I used these to replace the very poor tuners that were on a very cheap guitar I bought and heavily modified to be able to fit in a carry-on bag (the neck has to come off) on monthly week-long business trips to Europe. (JUST WATCH THAT YOU DON'T GET ANYTHING ON YOUR FINISH.)īut, I DON'T think you'll need any on THESE Wilkinsons.īTW, they fit right in, direct-replacement, into Squier-size 10mm holes, with the 45-degree tab.įYI, I paid $27.99, and, I'm quite happy. IF you want to use it, which I don't, as I do the "around-and-under"-thing.Īnd, remember, IF any of them are too tight, or too lose, they do have the little screws on the ends,Īlso, ya know, Silicon Lubricant often works wonders on such things as OLD tuners. These Wilkinson's are really nice, with a 19:1 ratio, and, the E-Z Post (2-hole-locking) feature, I'm sure that there must be BETTER tuners for MORE money, but, I think that I used them on a GFS Tele Kit that I just built.Īnd, I liked 'em so much, that I just BOUGHT A SECOND SET,įor the Knotty Pine Tele-build that I've just begun, from scratch! I got them in Black, and, they look, and work great!
I really like these Wilkinson E-Z Post Tuners! 6 Inline for most right handed Strats,Teles or many other types of guitars Screws, bushings and washers are included.Contemporary flat sided mini button with sealed housing and 45 degree fixing tag. These tuners are Non-staggered height posts, the posts are all the same height, so the guitar will require you to retain the string tree Fits for 10mm Tuner Holes headstock guitars.
